Celebrating IBER Cup Success – Bronze Medalists!
We are proud to announce that the IBER Cup was a phenomenal success! The 30 boys sponsored by the foundation competed with determination and skill, reaching the semi-finals and earning bronze medals!
The IBER Cup is not just any tournament – it is a globally recognized, FIFA-accredited football project held annually across Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Poland, England, Australia, China, USA, and now South Africa. It partners with some of the world’s largest football clubs and local government sports departments to promote excellence in youth football.
Over 170 countries represented. More than 150,000 players and 10,000 teams participate worldwide Since IBER Cup SA was established in 2019, the local team has leveraged 30+ years of experience to develop and manage South African teams for participation in major global tournaments, including the Gothia Cup (Sweden), Donosti Cup (Spain), Umbro Cup (England), Mundialito & IBER Cup (Portugal), and the Downtown Mayor’s Cup (Las Vegas).
We are excited about the 2025 IBER Cup, which will once again be hosted in South Africa with 80 clubs already registered! This event is a life-changing opportunity for young talent.

About the Program
The DBL 2025 and Beyond Soccer Program is aimed at empowering youth in disadvantaged communities through soccer. Designed to foster teamwork, discipline, and resilience, the program provides structured training, mentorship, and competitive opportunities, helping students unlock their full potential both on and off the field.
The Program Offers
- Professional Coaching: Training led by experienced coaches from the South Athletic Football Club.
- Skill Development: Build soccer techniques while cultivating life skills such as teamwork and discipline.
- Competitive Exposure: Participate in league matches, with games held outside Eldorado Park to provide broader competition experience.
- Inclusivity: Open trials ensure that every student, regardless of skill level, can participate.
